Yes, it's been a while since I last updated this blog, hoho.. Anyway, today I'd like to update about my brother, Ayep's wedding reception, which was held recently on 15th August 2015. 

He has given me the challenge of making a photo booth, candy booth and guestbook corner. This is my first time ever doing such a project for a wedding, therefore I admit that the end result is quite simple yet pleasing, hehehe...

INFINITE LOVE BY TIAMO

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Ever heard of Tiamo? Tiamo, which means "I love you" in Italian, is the first and probably only store that sells designer ballerina flats and pumps. Its founder is Korean designer Jung Eun Ju.

Tiamo occasionally offers discounts and sales on their shoes, which is the second thing I like about the store. The first reason I like Tiamo is because their shoes, especially flats, are owh-so-adorable. Since I'm a flats fan, Tiamo is my fave place to shop for shoes. (●♡∀♡)

Recently, Tiamo launched a new collection named "Infinite Love", in conjunction with their 4th anniversary celebration. This collection reveals more cute, unique and elegant shoes, in which some of them have matching pouches and handbags. Therefore, fans and customers do not have to worry about matching their shoes and bags, hihi... ^_^ Below are some pics from the "Infinite Love" collection:

Not only are Tiamo shoes pretty and cute (and the fact it's made in Korea, hihihihi...o(≧▽≦)o), they're also comfortable and soft. Another bonus about the "Infinite Love" collection is that it is designed to be limited in colour and numbers, thus only lucky fans are able to own and wear these selected one-of-a-kind designer shoes. σ(≧ε≦ｏ)

As a Tiamo fan myself, I have still not yet bought the new "Inifinite Love" collection (but I'm hoping to do so soon~!!) Currently, I only have 5 pairs of Tiamo flats. I was first introduced to Tiamo by my sister, Ijah. So now, we're both Tiamo fans. (Ɔ ˘⌣˘)♥(˘⌣˘ C)

I've been to Tiamo stores at Sunway Pyramid, Queensbay Mall and Alamanda. Other outlets are located at One Utama, KLCC, and The Gardens.

Tiamo has recently been reviewed by Cleo (link). Being reviewed by a fashion and beauty magazine shows that Tiamo is the shoe brand to shop for! For those of you who loves ballerina flats like I do, drop by Tiamo and you'll be stuck there for hours, browsing shoes of such cuteness and uniquness. Iftar 2014 with Officemates @ Al-Rawsha~!!

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Recently, on Monday (21st July 2014), my boss organised an iftar at Al-Rawsha restaurant in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. The restaurant specialises in Nasi Arab besides other dishes such as kebab, seafood and yummy desserts.

My family & I have eaten loads of time at the main branch at Kampung Pandan, KL. And we have once eaten at Al-Rawsha's branch at i-City, Shah Alam. So, this is my first time dining at the Seksyen 7 branch.

My family usually order lamb madghut & chicken mandy. I ordered a lamb kebab (as I'm on a "no rice" diet, hehehe) The food is really nice. It's a bit pricey but if you order a large dish like mandy or madghut, you can share it, so it's reasonable as well.

There's also a Ramadhan buffet, but we ordered ala carte instead. This is my first experience breaking fast with officemates. Quite sad that my phone was out of battery that night, so the pics below are from my officemates.

If you're a fan of Nasi Arab or would like to eat some, I truly recommend Al-Rawsha. ^_^ The restaurant is shaped like a castle on the outer side, so you probably won't miss it. It has facilities such as surau/musolla & an indoor playground.

Btw, today is the last day of work before Eid. So, we took a pic in the office before leaving.

[Review] The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

Salam n hye everyone~!!

The second part of "The Hobbit" trilogy is now showing in Malaysian cinemas since 12th December 2013, but it premiered the night before that in selected cinemas.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" starts off with a flashback scene of how Gandalf met Thorin Oakenshield. Then the story continues 12 months later showing the journey of the company of 13 dwarves, a wizard & a hobbit, namely Bilbo Baggins.

They are being chased by Orcs throughout the story. And encountered the Elves of Mirkwood and met Thranduil, Tauriel and....Legolas, hihi~... ^_^ There is a bit of a love story between the youngest dwarf, Kili (a.k.a Thorin's nephew) and Tauriel.

The company finally reached the Lonely Mountain despite having to go through a lot of dangers on the way. Bilbo then plays his important role as the burglar to try to steal the Arkenstone from Smaug, an enormous dragon who loves jewels & gold (and can talk too)

The story ends when the dwarves fail to defeat Smaug & the dragon flies out to the Laketown of Dale to cause chaos there. Owh yeah, forgot to mention about Bard the Bowman who plays an important role in the last movie of the trilogy, which will be in cinemas next year, hehehehe... :P

Last night, Friday night to be exact, I treated my siblings to watch the movie in 3D. It was our first time watching a movie together & I thought of treating them since I juz received my first salary of my freelance translator job (plus the fact that we're fans of "The Hobbit" & "Lord of the Rings")

We watched it at GSC, Setia City Mall in Setia Alam, not far from Shah Alam & Klang. It was my first time buying the tickets online, hihi~... Although it said that the movie would start at 11.40 pm, it actually started at midnight (after all of those commercials & trailers, that is) It was a packed hall, all seats were taken, so I was grateful that I had bought the tickets 2 days earlier, hihi~...

It's a great movie & last night was an awesome memorable experience wif four of my siblings (one brother was unable to go since he's in India)

[Recipe] Malaysian-style Madeleine Cake

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Have you ever heard of madeleine cakes before? They actually originate from France and look like shells. Well, in Malaysia, the madeleine varies a lot and it is also known as "kek permaisuri" here. They're not really a whole cake, but rather petite cakes, which you can serve during tea-time or festivities. My aunt always does these delicious cakes, and a few weeks ago, Ummi (my mom) tried out to bake madeleines for the first time.

Madeleine Cake/Kek Permaisuri

* 250 gm self-raising flour
* 250 gm butter
* 250 gm sugar
* 250 gm eggs (approx. 4-5 eggs)
* 1 tsp vanilla essence
* strawberry jam
* desiccated coconut
* red cherries (chopped)

1. Mix butter and sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

2. Add in the eggs slowly and keep stirring. After that, add in vanilla essence.

3. Then add the flour bit by bit. Keep mixing until all ingredients are blended together.

4. Grease a 12-hole muffin tin with butter and put in the cake mixture until ¾ full into each hole.

5. Put the muffin tins in a preheated oven of 180°C and let them cook for 15 minutes or until golden.

6. After the cakes have cooled down, spread the strawberry jam on the top and then dab the top in a plate of desiccated coconut.

7. Lastly, put the cherries as a finishing touch.

It's really a simple recipe to make. Plus, the madeleines are delicious and are pretty too. ^_^ Enjoy baking them, hihi~..

Finally..I've graduated~!! Alhamdulillah...

Sorry for being absent from the blogosphere & not visiting you back. I've been busy wif work which requires a lot of time & attention.

Back to the main story... Finally, after years of studying, I have graduated from University of Malaya on 4th October 2013. A 3-year course ended up to be 5 years long, as I encountered some problems a long the way (that are personal, huhu~...)

I'm grateful to Allah to be given a chance to finish my studies. And I'm very much thankful to my wonderful parents, family, lecturers & frens who have helped me out greatly, even tough there were times that I thought of stopping my studies. I can never repay them back, although I will try my very best to do so.

Hard work & patience are rewarding in the end. ^_^ Even when the going gets tough, you should never give up.

Kinda sudden, isn't it? I didn't even mention before that I'm gonna go somewhere, right? Hehe.. (●⌒∇⌒●) Yup, I'll be out of the country for 6 days starting today until 13th March 2013, hehe.. (─‿‿─)

Hope we don't encounter this prob, hehe.. XD

I'll be going wif my famly & my aunts & uncles. It's a famly trip that we have planned since late last year. Plz pray that our trip there will be safe, amin.. :3

It's the baby season~!!

No, plz do not think that I'm gonna have a new baby. I'm talking about other people, hehe.. 

Several people I know have juz had newborn babies. Omedetou to these people for their newborn babies~...

- my cousin Hafiz (who got a baby boy named Hussin - not so sure how it's really spelled, hehe)

- Ina a.k.a IntaNBerlian (who got another baby girl named Nur Aqilah)

- Kak Qienah (who got a baby girl named Nur Zara Aleesya)
* both Aqilah & Zara Aleesya have the same birthdate, hihi~.. :3

See..? Don't you think it's kinda like the season for babies to come out now? Hehe.. 

I'm thinking of what to give to these newborn babies. Mayb something from felt perhaps? I'll have to start designing then, hihi~.. XP

I luv the smell of babies & luv cradling them too~.. ^_^

Yup, we went to Terengganu~...

Salam n hye everyone~!!

Recently (6th - 8th Oct 2012), I went vacationing to Terengganu wif my parents, Hannah, my youngest bro Aslam, my 2 aunts & an uncle. 

Unfortunately, I accidentally clicked "Delete" when I was transferring the pics from camera to laptop. Huhuhuhu~.. ╥﹏╥ So now, the only Terengganu pics I have are from my aunt. 

My parents have anime faces coz they prefer to be anonymous on the Internet, hehe.. (─‿‿─)

Ummi & my aunts did a lot of shopping, esp buying caftans (not the usual ones that you wear to sleep though, hehe.. (⌒_⌒;) ) While my bro, Hannah & I did a lot of eating, owh yeah.. XD

I love going to Terengganu, esp to the beach, coz it's very calm & beautiful there. We also went there last year. We went to Kuala Terengganu, Paka, the Crystal Mosque & a lot of those pasar, hehe..

So.. many of you have guessed it right. But I can only pick one correct answer which is the fastest.
